Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the frozen tater tots on a baking sheet in a single layer and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown and crispy, flipping halfway through.

In a bowl, whisk together the eggs, salt, and black pepper. In the same skillet used for the meat, add butter and melt over medium heat. Pour in the egg mixture and let it sit for a few seconds. Gently stir with a spatula, pushing the eggs from the edges to the center until they are softly scrambled and still slightly runny. Add the American cheese slices during the last minute and stir until melted.

Slice the English muffins in half and toast them in a toaster or on a skillet until golden brown.
