Cooking the Mussels
1. Prepare the base
In a large pot, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sliced fennel bulb. Sauté until fennel is tender.

Add the mussels to the pot, cover, and cook for about 5-7 minutes until the mussels have opened. Discard any that do not open.
