Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Pasta

In a large pot of boiling salted water, cook the squid ink pasta according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

  2. 2

    Make the Sauce

In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add minced garlic and sauté until fragrant, about 1-2 minutes.

  3. 3

    Add Tomatoes and Seasoning

Stir in the crushed tomatoes, red chili flakes, salt, and black pepper. Let the sauce simmer for about 10 minutes.

  4. 4

    Cook the Shrimp

Add the jumbo shrimp to the skillet and cook until they turn pink and opaque, approximately 5-7 minutes.

  5. 5

    Combine Pasta and Sauce

Add the cooked squid ink pasta to the skillet and toss everything together. Let it cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to meld the flavors.

  6. 6

    Garnish and Serve

Remove from heat, stir in fresh basil, and serve hot. Drizzle with additional olive oil and sprinkle with more chili flakes if desired.
