Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Bones

Preheat your oven to 450°F (232°C). Arrange the beef marrow bones upright on a baking sheet, ensuring they are not touching each other. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper.

  2. 2

    Roast the Bones

Roast the bones in the preheated oven for about 15-20 minutes, or until the marrow is bubbly and starting to brown.

  3. 3

    Prepare the Crostini

While the bones are roasting, slice the baguette into 1/2-inch thick slices. Brush each slice with olive oil and place on a separate baking sheet. Toast in the oven for about 5-7 minutes or until golden brown.

  4. 4

    Make the Topping

In a small bowl, combine the chopped parsley, capers, and minced garlic. Mix well and set aside.

  5. 5

    Serve

Once the marrow is roasted to perfection and the crostini are toasted, remove them from the oven. Scoop the warm marrow onto the crostini and top with the parsley-caper mixture. Serve immediately.
