Prepare Vanilla Bean Simple Syrup

Combine Ingredients
In a small saucepan, combine 1 cup of granulated sugar and 1 cup of water.

Add Vanilla Bean
Split the vanilla bean lengthwise and scrape the seeds into the saucepan. Add the whole vanilla bean pod to the mixture.

Simmer
Allow the mixture to simmer for about 5 minutes, then remove from heat and let it cool.

Strain and Store
Once cooled, strain the syrup through a fine mesh sieve to remove the vanilla pod and any solids. Store the syrup in an airtight container in the refrigerator.
Prepare the Espresso

Brew Espresso
Using an espresso machine, brew 1 shot of espresso according to the manufacturer's instructions.
Froth Milk

Heat Milk
In a small saucepan, gently heat 1 cup of organic whole milk over medium-low heat until warm, but do not boil.

Assemble the Drink

Combine Ingredients
In a coffee cup, pour the brewed espresso followed by 1-2 tablespoons of the vanilla bean simple syrup (adjust to taste).

Add Frothed Milk
Top the espresso mixture with the frothed organic whole milk.

Garnish (Optional)
For an extra touch, you can sprinkle cinnamon or cocoa powder on top.
