Method

Preparation

  1. 1

    Wash and Peel

Thoroughly wash the carrots under running water. Peel the carrots and cut them into smaller pieces for easier blending.

  2. 2

    Prepare Oranges

Cut the oranges in half and juice them using a citrus juicer or by hand. Make sure to remove any seeds.

  3. 3

    Prepare Ginger

Peel the ginger with a spoon or a peeler. Grate it finely or slice it into small pieces to enhance the flavor when juicing.

Juicing

  1. 4

    Juicing the Ingredients

In a blender or juicer, combine the chopped carrots, fresh ginger, and the juice from the oranges. Blend until smooth.

  2. 5

    Strain (Optional)

If you prefer a smoother juice, pour the blended mixture through a fine mesh strainer or cheesecloth to remove the pulp.

Spicing Up

  1. 6

    Add Spices

Stir in the cayenne pepper and a pinch of salt into the juice. Adjust the cayenne to taste depending on your spice preference.

Serving

  1. 7

    Serve Chilled

Pour the spicy orange juice into glasses and serve immediately. You can also chill it in the refrigerator for 30 minutes before serving.
