Method

Waffle Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large bowl, combine the protein powder, ground oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In another bowl, whisk together the almond milk, egg, and vanilla extract until smooth.

  3. 3

    Combine Mixtures

Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

  4. 4

    Preheat Waffle Iron

Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

  5. 5

    Cook Waffles

Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour the batter into the center. Close the lid and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

Cinnamon Apple Sauce Preparation

  1. 6

    Cook Apples

In a saucepan, combine the diced apples and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

  2. 7

    Add Flavorings

Stir in the cinnamon and maple syrup. Cook until the apples are soft and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.

  3. 8

    Mash or Blend

Use a fork or potato masher to mash the apples into a sauce, or blend for a smoother consistency.

Spiced Pecans Preparation

  1. 9

    Toast Pecans

In a skillet over medium heat, add the pecans and toast for about 5 minutes, stirring frequently until fragrant.

  2. 10

    Season Pecans

Remove from heat and stir in the cinnamon, maple syrup, and a pinch of salt until evenly coated.

Coconut Whip Preparation

  1. 11

    Whip Coconut Cream

In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled coconut cream, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Use a hand mixer to whip until light and fluffy.
