Waffle Preparation

Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the protein powder, ground oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Whisk together until well mixed.

Combine Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.

Preheat Waffle Iron
Preheat your waffle iron according to the manufacturer’s instructions.

Lightly grease the waffle iron and pour the batter into the center. Close the lid and cook until golden brown, about 4-5 minutes. Repeat with remaining batter.

Cook Apples
In a saucepan, combine the diced apples and water. Bring to a simmer over medium heat.

Stir in the cinnamon and maple syrup. Cook until the apples are soft and the mixture thickens, about 10-15 minutes.

In a mixing bowl, combine the chilled coconut cream, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Use a hand mixer to whip until light and fluffy.
