Method
Preparing the Espresso
- 1
Grind the Coffee Beans
Start by grinding 18 grams of espresso coffee beans to a fine consistency, suitable for espresso extraction.
- 2
Brew the Espresso
Heat the water to approximately 90-95°C (194-203°F). Use an espresso machine or stovetop espresso maker to brew the coffee. Place the ground coffee in the portafilter, tamp it evenly, and lock it into the machine. Brew the espresso for about 25-30 seconds until you have a rich, concentrated shot.
Frothing the Milk
- 3
Heat the Milk
Pour 240 ml of organic whole milk into a small saucepan. Heat the milk over medium heat until it is warm but not boiling, reaching about 60-65°C (140-149°F).

Combining the Ingredients
- 5
Assemble the Latte
In a large mug, pour the freshly brewed espresso shot. Slowly add the frothed milk on top of the espresso, holding back the foam with a spoon if desired. To create latte art, pour the milk in a steady stream while swirling the mug.
