Method
Juicing
- 1
Juice the Grapefruit
Cut the grapefruit in half and use a citrus juicer to extract the juice. Collect the juice in a measuring cup. You should have approximately 1 cup of grapefruit juice.
- 2
Juice the Lime
Cut the lime in half and squeeze the juice into the same measuring cup as the grapefruit juice. This should yield about 2 tablespoons of lime juice.
Mixing
- 3
Combine Ingredients
In a large glass or pitcher, combine the freshly juiced grapefruit and lime juices. Stir in the fresh mint leaves, vanilla extract, and agave syrup.
- 4
Muddle the Mint
Using a muddler or the back of a spoon, gently press down on the mint leaves to release their aroma and flavor without shredding them.
Serving
- 5
Add Sparkling Water
Slowly pour in the MTV sparkling water to the mixture, stirring gently to combine without losing the carbonation.
- 6
Serve
Pour the grapefruit soda into serving glasses filled with ice. Garnish with additional mint leaves, if desired. Enjoy your refreshing grapefruit soda!
