Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup

Method

Cranberry Rosemary Simple Syrup Preparation

  1. 1

    Combine Ingredients

In a saucepan, combine the fresh cranberries, fresh rosemary sprigs, granulated sugar, and water.

  2. 2

    Cook the Mixture

Place the saucepan over medium heat, stirring occasionally until the sugar has dissolved and the cranberries have burst, about 10 minutes.

  3. 3

    Strain the Syrup

Remove the saucepan from heat and let it cool slightly. Strain the mixture through a fine mesh sieve to remove the solids, pressing on the cranberries to extract as much liquid as possible. Discard the solids.

  4. 4

    Store the Syrup

Transfer the syrup to a clean glass jar or bottle and let it cool completely. Store in the refrigerator for up to 2 weeks.

Soda Assembly

  1. 5

    Prepare the Glass

In a glass, add the freshly squeezed lime juice and grated ginger.

  2. 6

    Add Simple Syrup

Pour 2 to 3 tablespoons of the cranberry rosemary simple syrup into the glass, adjusting to your taste.

  3. 7

    Mix with Sparkling Water

Slowly pour in the Mountain Valley sparkling water, gently stirring to combine all the ingredients.

  4. 8

    Garnish and Serve

Garnish with a sprig of fresh rosemary and a few whole cranberries if desired. Serve immediately over ice.
