Method

Steak Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Steak

Pat the ribeye steaks dry with paper towels. Drizzle olive oil on both sides and rub with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Let the steaks come to room temperature for about 30 minutes.

  2. 2

    Grill the Steak

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Grill the steaks for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, adjusting time for desired doneness. Remove from grill and let rest for 5 minutes before slicing.

Fries Preparation

  1. 3

    Prepare the Potatoes

Peel and cut the russet potatoes into thin strips. Soak the potato strips in cold water for at least 30 minutes to remove excess starch.

  2. 4

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat vegetable oil in a deep fryer or a large pot to 350°F (175°C). Remove potatoes from water, dry thoroughly, and fry in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 4-5 minutes. Drain on paper towels and sprinkle with salt.

Chimichurri Preparation

  1. 5

    Make the Chimichurri

In a food processor, combine fresh parsley, oregano, garlic, red wine vinegar, olive oil, salt, and red pepper flakes. Pulse until finely chopped but not pureed. Adjust seasoning to taste.
