Squid Preparation

Prepare the Squid
Rinse the cleaned squid under cold water and pat dry with paper towels.

Season the Squid
In a bowl, toss the squid with salt and black pepper until evenly coated.

Coat with Cornstarch
Sprinkle cornstarch over the seasoned squid and toss to coat thoroughly.

Heat the Oil
In a deep pan or fryer, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat until hot (about 180°C or 350°F).

Fry the Squid
Fry the squid in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Remove with a slotted spoon and drain on paper towels.

Make the Sriracha Mayo
In a bowl, combine mayonnaise, sriracha sauce, and lime juice. Mix well until smooth and creamy.
