Method

Prepare the Fries

  1. 1

    Cut the Potatoes

Wash and peel the potatoes. Cut them into even-sized strips to ensure uniform cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Fries

In a large bowl, toss the potato strips with olive oil, salt, and paprika until they are evenly coated.

  3. 3

    Bake the Fries

Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C). Spread the seasoned potatoes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 25-30 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.

Prepare the Burger Patties

  1. 4

    Mix the Beef

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Mix gently until just combined, being careful not to overwork the meat.

  2. 5

    Form the Patties

Divide the meat mixture into four equal portions and shape them into patties, making a slight indentation in the center of each to prevent puffing while cooking.

  3. 6

    Cook the Patties

Heat a skillet or grill over medium-high heat. Cook the patties for about 3-4 minutes on one side, then flip them and place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty. Cook for another 3-4 minutes until the cheese is melted and the burger is cooked to your desired doneness.

Assemble the Burgers

  1. 7

    Prepare the Buns

While the burgers are cooking, slice the burger buns in half and toast them lightly on the skillet or grill.

  2. 8

    Build the Burger

On the bottom half of each bun, layer a lettuce leaf, a cooked burger patty with melted cheese, a slice of tomato, pickles, ketchup, and mustard. Top with the other half of the bun.
