Burger Assembly

Method

Burger Patty

  1. 1

    Prepare the Patty

In a bowl, combine ground beef, salt, and black pepper. Form the mixture into a burger patty about 1/2 inch thick.

  2. 2

    Cook the Patty

Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until it reaches your desired doneness.

  3. 3

    Melt the Cheese

In the last minute of cooking, place the pimento cheese on top of the patty and cover with a lid to help it melt.

Toppings

  1. 4

    Cook the Bacon

In a skillet, cook the bacon slices over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.

  2. 5

    Prepare Fresh Vegetables

Wash the lettuce leaf, tomato, and onion. Slice the tomato and onion as needed.

  3. 6

    Set Up the Toppings

Gather the cooked bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, house pickles, and burger sauce for assembly.

Kool-Aid Pickle

  1. 7

    Prepare the Kool-Aid Pickles

In a bowl, mix the Kool-Aid powder with the water until dissolved. Add the pickles to the mixture and let them soak for at least 24 hours in the refrigerator.

Burger Assembly

  1. 8

    Assemble the Burger

Place the cooked patty with melted pimento cheese on the bottom half of the bun. Layer with bacon, lettuce, tomato, onion, house pickles, and drizzle with burger sauce. Top with the other half of the bun.

  2. 9

    Serve

Serve the burger with a side of Kool-Aid pickles for a delightful crunch.
