Preparing the Chicken

In a large bowl, mix together the flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, onion powder, and paprika.

Dredge each chicken thigh in the seasoned flour, ensuring they are well-coated.

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat.

Frying the Chicken
Once the oil is hot, add the chicken thighs skin-side down. Fry for about 7-10 minutes until golden brown.

Flip the chicken and cook for another 7-10 minutes until fully cooked and internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).

Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside on a plate lined with paper towels to drain excess oil.

Whisk the flour continuously for about 2-3 minutes until it turns a light brown color.

Gradually add in the chicken broth while whisking to prevent lumps from forming.
