Preparation
Rinse the Cranberries
Place the fresh cranberries in a colander and rinse them under cold running water to remove any dirt or debris. Drain well.
Cook the Cranberries
In a large saucepan, combine the rinsed cranberries and water. Bring the mixture to a boil over medium-high heat.
Simmer
Once boiling, reduce the heat to medium-low and let it simmer for about 10-15 minutes, or until the cranberries have burst and softened.
Strain the Mixture
