Preparation Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Fries

Peel and cut the potatoes into thin shoestring fries. Rinse in cold water to remove excess starch. Pat dry with a paper towel.

  2. 2

    Fry the Potatoes

Heat oil in a deep fryer or large pot to 350°F (175°C). Fry the potatoes in batches until golden brown and crispy, about 3-4 minutes per batch. Remove and drain on paper towels. Season with salt to taste.

  3. 3

    Cook the Steak

Season the sirloin crown steak with salt and black pepper. Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the steak for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until preferred doneness. Let the steak rest for a few minutes before slicing.

  4. 4

    Prepare the Salad

In a bowl, combine mixed greens, diced tomato, and sliced cucumber. Drizzle with olive oil and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  5. 5

    Serve

Plate the steak with a side of shoestring fries and the house salad. Serve with frites sauce for dipping.
