Directions
- 1
Cook the Rice
Rinse the Jasmine rice under cold water until the water runs clear. In a medium pot, combine the rinsed rice, water, and salt. Bring to a boil over medium-high heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for about 15 minutes, or until the rice is tender and the water is absorbed. Remove from heat and let it sit, covered, for an additional 5 minutes.
- 2
Prepare the Sesame Mixture
In a small bowl, mix together sesame oil and gluten-free soy sauce. Set aside.
- 3
Combine Rice and Seasoning
Fluff the cooked rice with a fork and transfer it to a large mixing bowl. Pour the sesame oil and soy sauce mixture over the rice and gently fold to combine. Stir in sesame seeds and sliced green onions.
- 4
Serve
Taste and adjust seasoning if necessary. Serve warm as a side dish or as a base for your favorite protein.
