Cooking Instructions
- 1
Prepare the Turkey
Preheat your oven to 180°C (350°F). Rub the turkey breast with olive oil, salt, ancho chili powder, minced garlic, and grated ginger. Crush the black peppercorns and press them onto the turkey to create a crust.
- 2
Roast the Turkey
Place the turkey in a roasting pan and roast it in the preheated oven for about 1 hour or until the internal temperature reaches 75°C (165°F). Let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing.
- 3
Cook the Grains
In a saucepan, bring the vegetable broth to a boil. Add the mixed grains and reduce to a simmer. Cook according to package instructions, usually about 15-20 minutes, until tender.
- 4
Assemble the Dish
On a serving plate, place a generous scoop of cooked grains, top with sliced turkey, a dollop of fromage blanc, and garnish with alfalfa sprouts and pickled carrots.
