Prepare Chicken
In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

Prepare Breading
In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

Bread the Chicken
Remove chicken from buttermilk and let excess drip off. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

While the chicken is frying, chop the romaine lettuce and slice the cucumber.

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, sliced cucumber, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad and toss to combine.
