Crispy Chicken Caesar Salad Ingredients

Method

Instructions for Crispy Chicken Caesar

  1. 1

    Prepare Chicken

In a bowl, soak the chicken breasts in buttermilk for at least 1 hour or overnight in the refrigerator.

  2. 2

    Prepare Breading

In a shallow dish, combine flour, cornstarch, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper. Mix well.

  3. 3

    Bread the Chicken

Remove chicken from buttermilk and let excess drip off. Dredge the chicken in the flour mixture until fully coated.

  4. 4

    Fry Chicken

In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Fry the chicken for about 5-7 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked through. Drain on paper towels.

  5. 5

    Prepare Salad

While the chicken is frying, chop the romaine lettuce and slice the cucumber.

  6. 6

    Assemble the Salad

In a large bowl, combine the chopped romaine, sliced cucumber, Parmesan cheese, and croutons. Drizzle Caesar dressing over the salad and toss to combine.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the crispy chicken and place it on top of the salad. Serve immediately.
