Burger Patty

Maker's Mark Bourbon Glaze

Method

Burger Preparation

  1. 1

    Season the Patty

Sprinkle salt and black pepper on both sides of the Certified Angus Beef Patty.

  2. 2

    Grill the Patty

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Place the seasoned patty on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until it reaches your desired doneness.

Bourbon Glaze Preparation

  1. 3

    Make the Glaze

In a saucepan over medium heat, combine the Maker's Mark Bourbon, brown sugar, soy sauce, garlic powder, and ground ginger. Stir well and bring to a simmer. Cook for about 10 minutes until the glaze thickens slightly.

  2. 4

    Glaze the Patty

In the last minute of grilling, brush the bourbon glaze over the patty to coat it generously.

Assemble the Burger

  1. 5

    Prepare the Bun

Slice the brioche bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill until golden brown.

  2. 6

    Add Toppings

Place the grilled patty on the bottom half of the bun, add a slice of cheddar cheese, then top with a generous handful of Frank's crispy fried onions.

  3. 7

    Complete the Burger

Cover with the top half of the brioche bun and your Fire & Ice Whiskey Burger is ready to serve!
