Method

For the Chicken Fried Ribeye

  1. 1

    Prepare the Breading

In three separate shallow bowls, place the all-purpose flour in the first, whisk together the eggs and milk in the second, and combine salt, black pepper, and paprika in the flour.

  2. 2

    Bread the Ribeye

Dredge each ribeye steak in the flour mixture, dip in the egg mixture, and then coat again in the flour. Ensure an even coating.

  3. 3

    Fry the Steak

In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the breaded ribeye steaks and fry for about 4-5 minutes on each side or until golden brown and cooked to your liking.

  4. 4

    Drain

Remove the steaks and place them on a paper towel-lined plate to drain excess oil.

For the Shallot Pepper Cream Gravy

  1. 5

    Sauté Shallots

In the same skillet used for the steaks, reduce heat to medium and add butter. Once melted, add the diced shallots and sauté until translucent.

  2. 6

    Make the Gravy

Sprinkle the black pepper over the shallots, then pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Gradually stir in the heavy cream, cooking until the gravy thickens slightly.

For the Garlic Mashed Potatoes

  1. 7

    Cook the Potatoes

Peel and chop the potatoes into chunks. Place them in a large pot with salted water and boil until tender, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 8

    Add Garlic

During the last 5 minutes of boiling, add the garlic cloves to the pot with the potatoes.

  3. 9

    Mash the Potatoes

Drain the potatoes and garlic, then return them to the pot. Add butter, heavy cream, salt, and black pepper, and mash until smooth and creamy.

For the House Vegetables

  1. 10

    Sauté the Vegetables

In a separate skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the mixed vegetables, seasoning with salt and black pepper. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender.
