Method

Cooking the Burger

  1. 1

    For Angus Beef Burger

Preheat a grill or a skillet over medium-high heat. Season the certified Angus beef patty with salt and pepper on both sides.

  2. 2

Cook the beef patty for about 3-4 minutes on each side for medium doneness, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

  3. 3

    For Black Bean Chipotle Burger

If using a frozen black bean chipotle burger, thaw it according to package instructions.

  4. 4

Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and cook the black bean burger for about 4-5 minutes on each side, until heated through and crispy on the outside.

Adding Cheese

  1. 5

During the last minute of cooking, place your choice of cheese (American, Pepper Jack, Swiss, or Cheddar) on top of the burger and cover with a lid to allow the cheese to melt.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 6

Slice the brioche bun in half and toast it lightly on the grill or in a toaster.

  2. 7

Place the cooked burger patty on the bottom half of the bun.

  3. 8

Layer with lettuce, tomato, onion, and pickles.

  4. 9

Add ketchup and mustard to taste.

  5. 10

Top with the other half of the brioche bun and serve immediately.
