Burger Ingredients

Balsamic Onions

Method

Preparing Balsamic Onions

  1. 1

    Sautéing the Onions

In a medium skillet, heat olive oil over medium heat. Add the sliced onion and sauté for about 5-7 minutes until they become translucent.

  2. 2

    Adding Balsamic Vinegar

Once the onions are softened, add balsamic vinegar, salt, and black pepper. Stir well and cook for another 5 minutes until the onions are caramelized and the vinegar has reduced.

  3. 3

    Removing from Heat

Remove the skillet from heat and set the balsamic onions aside.

Cooking the Burger

  1. 4

    Grilling the Wagyu Patties

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat. Season the wagyu patties with salt and black pepper on both sides.

  2. 5

    Placing on the Grill

Place the patties on the grill and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of Swiss cheese on each patty to melt.

  3. 6

    Toasting the Buns

While the patties are cooking, you can toast the sweet burger buns on the grill for about 1-2 minutes until they are lightly browned.

Assembling the Burger

  1. 7

    Building the Burger

Once the patties are cooked and the cheese is melted, assemble the burgers. Start with the bottom bun, add a lettuce leaf, place the patty with melted Swiss cheese, top with balsamic onions, and finish with tomato slices.

  2. 8

    Completing the Burger

Add the top bun and press gently. Serve immediately.
