Pizza Dough

Method

Pizza Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and active dry yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until it becomes frothy.

  2. 2

    Mix Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine all-purpose flour and salt. Once the yeast is activated, add it along with olive oil to the flour mixture. Stir until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover it with a damp cloth, and let it rise in a warm area for about 1 hour or until it doubles in size.

Buffalo Chicken Preparation

  1. 5

    Prepare Chicken

In a mixing bowl, combine shredded chicken with buffalo sauce. Mix well until the chicken is fully coated.

Pizza Assembly and Baking

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 7

    Shape Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired pizza size (large).

  3. 8

    Assemble Pizza

Transfer the rolled-out dough to a pizza stone or baking sheet. Brush the surface with olive oil. Spread the buffalo chicken mixture evenly over the dough, then top with mozzarella cheese and sprinkle with blue cheese crumbles.

  4. 9

    Bake Pizza

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  5. 10

    Garnish and Serve

Once baked, remove the pizza from the oven and let it cool for a few minutes. Garnish with chopped parsley before slicing and serving.
