Pizza Dough

Method

Pizza Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Activate Yeast

In a bowl, combine warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it sit for about 5-10 minutes until frothy.

  2. 2

    Make Dough

In a large mixing bowl, combine flour and salt. Make a well in the center and pour in the yeast mixture and olive oil. Mix until a dough forms.

  3. 3

    Knead Dough

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 5-7 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  4. 4

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with a cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.

Buffalo Sauce Preparation

  1. 5

    Make Sauce

In a saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter and stir in the hot sauce, vinegar, garlic powder, and Worcestershire sauce. Cook for 2-3 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 6

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C).

  2. 7

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and roll it out on a floured surface to your desired thickness.

  3. 8

    Add Sauce and Toppings

Spread a layer of Buffalo sauce on the rolled-out dough. Top with shredded chicken, mozzarella cheese, and blue cheese crumbles.

  4. 9

    Bake Pizza

Transfer the pizza to a baking sheet or pizza stone and bake for 12-15 minutes or until the crust is golden and the cheese is bubbly.

  5. 10

    Garnish

Remove the pizza from the oven and sprinkle with sliced green onions before slicing and serving.
