Method

Dough Preparation

  1. 1

    Mix Dry Ingredients

In a large mixing bowl, combine the all-purpose flour, instant yeast, sugar, and salt. Stir until well mixed.

  2. 2

    Combine Wet Ingredients

In a separate bowl, mix the warm water and olive oil together.

  3. 3

    Form the Dough

Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until a dough forms.

  4. 4

    Knead the Dough

Transfer the dough onto a floured surface and knead for about 8-10 minutes until smooth and elastic.

  5. 5

    Let Dough Rise

Place the dough in a lightly oiled bowl, cover with a clean cloth, and let it rise in a warm place for about 1 hour, or until doubled in size.

Topping Preparation

  1. 6

    Caramelize Onions

Heat 1 tablespoon of olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Add the sliced onion, season with salt and pepper, and cook, stirring frequently, until the onions are soft and caramelized, about 15-20 minutes.

  2. 7

    Prepare Ribs

If not already done, shred the pulled baby back ribs and mix with BBQ sauce in a bowl.

Pizza Assembly

  1. 8

    Preheat Oven

Preheat your oven to 475°F (245°C) and place a pizza stone or baking sheet inside to heat.

  2. 9

    Roll Out Dough

Once the dough has risen, punch it down and transfer it to a floured surface. Roll it out into a large circle that fits your pizza stone or baking sheet.

  3. 10

    Add Toppings

Spread a layer of BBQ sauce evenly over the rolled-out dough. Then distribute the pulled baby back ribs over the sauce, followed by the caramelized onions. Finally, sprinkle the shredded cheddar and mozzarella cheese evenly on top.

  4. 11

    Bake the Pizza

Carefully transfer the assembled pizza to the preheated pizza stone or baking sheet. Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown and the cheese is bubbly and melted.

Serving

  1. 12

    Slice and Serve

Remove the pizza from the oven, let it cool for a few minutes, then slice it into wedges and serve hot.
