Method

Prepare the Burger Patty

1

Form the Patty

In a bowl, combine the ground beef, salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Mix gently until just combined. Form the mixture into a patty about 1 inch thick.

2

Cook the Patty

Preheat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the patty for about 4-5 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 3-4 minutes or until it reaches your desired level of doneness.

Prepare the Bacon

3

Cook the Bacon

In a separate skillet, cook the bacon strips over medium heat until crispy, about 5-7 minutes. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels.

Assemble the Burger

4

Layer Ingredients

Place the cooked beef patty on the bottom half of the burger bun. Top with a slice of cheddar cheese, crispy bacon strips, a leaf of lettuce, a slice of tomato, and pickles.

5

Add Condiments

Spread ketchup and mustard on the top half of the burger bun, then place it on top of the assembled burger.
