Prepare the Croutons

Make the Croutons
Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Cut the artisan bread into bite-sized cubes and place them in a mixing bowl.

Bake the Croutons
Spread the seasoned bread cubes in a single layer on a baking sheet. Bake for 10-15 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy. Remove from the oven and let cool.
Prepare the Caesar Dressing

Mix the Dressing
In a medium bowl, combine mayonnaise, lemon juice, Worcestershire sauce, anchovy paste, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper.

Whisk Together
Whisk the ingredients together until smooth and well combined. Adjust seasoning to taste.
Assemble the Salad

Prepare the Romaine
Wash the romaine lettuce thoroughly and dry it. Tear the leaves into bite-sized pieces and place them in a large salad bowl.

Add Cheese and Dressing
Sprinkle the Pecorino Romano cheese over the romaine. Drizzle the Caesar dressing over the top.

Toss the Salad
Gently toss the salad until the romaine is well coated with the dressing and cheese.

Add Croutons
Finally, add the cooled artisan croutons to the salad and toss gently to combine. Serve immediately.
