Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 425°F (220°C).

Prepare Ramekins
Grease four ramekins with butter and dust with flour, shaking out the excess. Place them on a baking tray.
Making the Cake Batter

Melt Chocolate and Butter
In a microwave-safe bowl, combine the unsalted butter and semi-sweet chocolate. Microwave in 30-second intervals, stirring until melted and smooth.

Mix in Sugar
Add granulated sugar to the melted chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.

Add Eggs and Yolk
Add the large eggs and egg yolks to the mixture, whisking until fully incorporated.

Combine Dry Ingredients
Sift the all-purpose flour and salt into the chocolate mixture. Add the vanilla extract and fold gently until just combined.
Baking the Cake

Fill Ramekins
Evenly distribute the batter among the prepared ramekins, filling them about 3/4 full.

Bake in the preheated oven for 12-14 minutes, or until the edges are firm but the center is still soft.

Remove from oven and let the cakes cool for 1 minute before inverting onto plates.
