Mix Dry Ingredients
In a large mixing bowl, whisk together the all-purpose flour, baking powder, sugar, and salt until well combined.

Making the Pancake Batter

Combine Wet and Dry Mixtures
Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients. Stir gently until just combined. Be careful not to overmix; some lumps are okay.
Cooking the Pancakes

Preheat the Pan
Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat. You can lightly grease it with butter or cooking spray if desired.

Pour the Batter
Using a ladle or measuring cup, pour about 1/4 cup of batter for each pancake onto the skillet.

Cook Until Bubbles Form
Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake and the edges appear set, about 2-3 minutes.

Flip and Cook
Carefully flip the pancake and cook for another 1-2 minutes until golden brown. Repeat with remaining batter.

Stack the pancakes on a plate and serve warm with maple syrup and fresh fruit if desired.
