Cooking Instructions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Rub

In a bowl, mix together salt, black pepper, paprika, garlic powder, brown sugar, smoked paprika, and cayenne pepper to create a dry rub.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Generously apply the dry rub to both sides of the ribs, ensuring they are well coated.

  4. 4

    Preheat the Smoker

Preheat your smoker to 225°F (107°C) using your choice of wood chips for smoking.

  5. 5

    Smoke the Ribs

Place the ribs in the smoker bone side down and smoke for approximately 4 hours, maintaining the temperature and adding wood chips as needed.

  6. 6

    Finish the Ribs

After 4 hours, wrap the ribs in aluminum foil and return them to the smoker for an additional 1 hour to tenderize.

  7. 7

    Rest and Serve

Remove the ribs from the smoker, let them rest for 10-15 minutes, then slice and serve.
