Pulled Ribs
Method
Preparation and Assembly
- 1
Prepare the Ribs
Preheat your oven to 150°C (300°F). In a bowl, mix together the brown sugar, smoked paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, and black pepper to create a dry rub. Rub this mixture all over the pork ribs. Place the ribs in a baking dish, add the apple cider vinegar, and cover tightly with foil. Bake for 3 hours.
- 2
Shred the Ribs
Once the ribs are cooked, remove them from the oven and let them rest for about 15 minutes. Then, use two forks to shred the meat away from the bones.
- 3
Combine with BBQ Sauce
In a large bowl, combine the shredded ribs with the BBQ sauce, mixing well to ensure all the meat is coated.
- 4
Prepare the Slaw
In a separate bowl, mix the coleslaw mix with mayonnaise, vinegar, and season with salt and pepper to taste. Toss until everything is well combined.
- 5
Assemble the Sandwich
Toast the hamburger buns if desired. Place a generous portion of BBQ pulled ribs on the bottom half of each bun, top with coleslaw, and place the top half of the bun over it. Serve immediately.
