Pulled Chicken Ingredients
Method
Cooking Directions
- 1
Prepare the Chicken
In a slow cooker, add the chicken breasts, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and onion powder. Pour in half of the BBQ sauce. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until the chicken is tender and easily shredded.
- 2
Make the Slaw
In a large bowl, combine the shredded cabbage, grated carrot, mayonnaise, apple cider vinegar, sugar, salt, and pepper. Mix well until all ingredients are combined. Refrigerate for at least 30 minutes to allow flavors to meld.
- 3
Shred the Chicken
Once the chicken is cooked, remove it from the slow cooker and shred it using two forks. Mix the shredded chicken with the remaining BBQ sauce.
- 4
Assemble the Sandwiches
Toast the burger buns if desired. Place a generous amount of pulled chicken on the bottom half of each bun, top with slaw, and cover with the top half of the bun.
