Preparation Steps
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking dish with parchment paper.
- 2
Mix Base Ingredients
In a large bowl, combine the rolled oats, almond flour, honey (or maple syrup), melted coconut oil, vanilla extract, and salt. Stir until well combined.
- 3
Add Mix-Ins
Fold in the chocolate chips, dried blueberries, dried cranberries, and chopped nuts (if using) until evenly distributed.
- 4
Bake the Bars
Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and press down firmly to create an even layer. Bake in the preheated oven for 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown.
- 5
Cool and Cut
Allow the bars to cool in the baking dish for about 10 minutes before lifting them out using the parchment paper. Let them cool completely on a wire rack, then cut into squares or rectangles.
- 6
Store
Store the bars in an airtight container at room temperature for up to a week or in the fridge for longer freshness.
