Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

Mix Wet Ingredients
In a large bowl, cream together the softened butter, brown sugar, and granulated sugar until smooth. Beat in the eggs one at a time, then stir in the vanilla extract.

Combine Mixtures
Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Fold in the raisins.

Scoop the Cookies
Drop rounded tablespoons of dough onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.

Bake
Bake in the preheated oven for 10 to 12 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.

Cool and Serve
Remove from the oven and allow the cookies to cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
