Dough Preparation
- 1
Prepare the Dough
In a small saucepan, heat the milk and butter over medium heat until the butter is melted. Remove from heat and let cool until warm. In a large mixing bowl, combine flour, sugar, yeast, and salt. Add the warm milk mixture and eggs, and mix until a dough forms. Knead on a floured surface for about 5-7 minutes until smooth.
- 2
First Rise
Place the dough in a lightly greased bowl, cover with a damp cloth, and let rise in a warm place for about 1 hour or until doubled in size.
- 3
Prepare Filling
In a small bowl, mix together brown sugar, cinnamon, and softened butter to create the filling.
- 4
Shape Rolls
After the dough has risen, roll it out on a floured surface into a rectangle. Spread the cinnamon filling evenly over the dough. Roll the dough tightly into a log and slice into 12 even rolls.
- 5
Second Rise
Place the rolls in a greased baking dish, cover with a cloth, and let rise for another 30-45 minutes.
- 6
Bake
Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Bake the rolls for 25-30 minutes or until golden brown.
