Hot Cocoa Directions

   Heat the Milk

   In a small saucepan, heat the milk over medium heat until it is warm but not boiling.

   Mix Cocoa and Sugar

   In a separate bowl, mix the cocoa powder, sugar, and salt together.

   Combine Mixtures

   Once the milk is warm, add the cocoa mixture to the pan and whisk until fully dissolved.

   Add Vanilla

   Remove the pan from heat and stir in the vanilla extract.

   Serve

   Pour the hot cocoa into a mug and top with whipped cream or marshmallows as desired.
