Method
Brownie Preparation
- 1
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x13 inch baking pan.
- 2
Melt the Butter
In a medium saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter. Remove from heat and stir in both sugars until well combined.
- 3
Add Eggs and Vanilla
Allow the mixture to cool slightly, then add the eggs one at a time, mixing well after each addition. Stir in the vanilla extract.
- 4
Combine Dry Ingredients
In a separate bowl, whisk together the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and chocolate chips.
- 5
Mix Wet and Dry Ingredients
Gradually add the dry ingredient mixture to the wet mixture, stirring until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
- 6
Bake the Brownies
Pour the batter into the prepared baking pan and spread evenly. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out with a few moist crumbs.
- 7
Cool and Serve
Allow the brownies to cool in the pan for at least 15 minutes before cutting into squares. Serve warm or at room temperature.
