Preparation

Cook the Pasta
In a large pot, bring salted water to a boil. Add bow tie pasta and cook according to package instructions until al dente. Drain and set aside.

Make the Alfredo Sauce
In a large skillet over medium heat, melt the butter. Add minced garlic and sauté for 1-2 minutes until fragrant. Pour in the heavy cream and bring to a simmer.

Add Cheese and Seasoning
Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese, salt, and black pepper. Continue to stir until the cheese has melted and the sauce is smooth.

Combine Pasta and Sauce
Add the cooked bow tie pasta to the skillet with the Alfredo sauce. Toss to coat the pasta evenly in the sauce.

Add Chicken or Steak
Gently fold in the cooked and sliced chicken or steak into the pasta and sauce mixture.

Serve
Serve the Bow Tie Alfredo hot, garnished with chopped parsley and additional Parmesan cheese if desired.
