Method

Directions

  1. 1

    Prepare the Steak

Remove the T-Bone steak from the refrigerator and allow it to reach room temperature for about 30 minutes. This ensures even cooking.

  2. 2

    Season the Steak

Pat the steak dry with paper towels. Rub olive oil all over the steak, then sprinkle garlic powder, salt, black pepper, and fresh rosemary evenly on both sides.

  3. 3

    Preheat the Grill or Skillet

Preheat your grill or a heavy skillet over high heat for about 5 minutes until it’s very hot.

  4. 4

    Cook the Steak

Place the steak on the grill or skillet and cook for about 4-5 minutes on each side for medium-rare, or until the desired doneness is reached. Use a meat thermometer for accuracy (130°F for medium-rare).

  5. 5

    Add Butter

During the last minute of cooking, add butter to the skillet or on top of the steak on the grill. Spoon the melted butter over the steak for added flavor.

  6. 6

    Rest the Steak

Remove the steak from the heat and let it rest for 5-10 minutes before slicing. This allows the juices to redistribute.

  7. 7

    Serve

Slice the steak and serve with your favorite sides.
