BBQ Ribs Ingredients

Method

BBQ Ribs Preparation

  1. 1

    Prepare the Ribs

Preheat your oven to 300°F (150°C). Remove the membrane from the back of the ribs and pat them dry with paper towels.

  2. 2

    Make the Dry Rub

In a bowl, mix together brown sugar, paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper.

  3. 3

    Season the Ribs

Rub the olive oil over the ribs, then generously apply the dry rub mixture all over the ribs. Let them sit for at least 30 minutes to absorb the flavors.

  4. 4

    Bake the Ribs

Place the ribs on a baking sheet lined with aluminum foil. Cover the ribs with another piece of foil and bake in the preheated oven for 2.5 to 3 hours.

  5. 5

    Add BBQ Sauce

Remove the ribs from the oven and discard the top layer of foil. Brush the BBQ sauce over the ribs and return them to the oven, uncovered, for an additional 30 minutes.

  6. 6

    Serve

Once the ribs are caramelized and sticky, remove them from the oven and let rest for a few minutes before slicing. Serve with extra BBQ sauce on the side.
