Preparation of Hot Dogs

Cook the Hot Dogs
Boil or grill the hot dogs until they are heated through and slightly browned, around 5-7 minutes.

Slice the Hot Dogs
Once cooked, slice each hot dog into bite-sized pieces. Set aside to cool slightly.
Preparing Chilled Veggies

Wash and Cut Vegetables
Thoroughly wash the carrots, cucumber, bell peppers, and cherry tomatoes. Cut the carrots into sticks, cucumber into slices, bell peppers into strips, and leave the cherry tomatoes whole.

Chill the Vegetables
Place the cut veggies in a bowl and refrigerate for at least 15 minutes to chill them.
Making the Dipping Sauce

Mix Dipping Sauce Ingredients
In a small bowl, combine the soy sauce, sesame oil, honey, and sesame seeds. Stir until well mixed.
Assembling the Mini Bento

Fill Bento Box
In a bento box or lunch container, arrange the sliced hot dogs, chilled veggies, and takuwan in separate compartments.

Pour the prepared dipping sauce into a small container and place it in the bento box.
