Chicken Wings and Marinade
Method
Preparation and Cooking
- 1
Marinate the Wings
In a large bowl, combine soy sauce, honey, sriracha sauce, grated ginger, minced garlic, and sesame oil. Mix well. Add the chicken wings to the marinade and toss to coat evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 1 hour, preferably overnight.
- 2
Preheat the Oven
Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C). Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- 3
Bake the Wings
Remove the wings from the marinade and place them on the wire rack. Reserve the marinade for later use. Bake the wings in the preheated oven for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- 4
Make the Glaze
While the wings are baking, pour the reserved marinade into a small saucepan and bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for about 5-10 minutes until slightly thickened.
- 5
Glaze the Wings
Once the wings are done baking, remove them from the oven and brush with the thickened glaze. Return to the oven for an additional 5 minutes.
- 6
Serve
Remove from the oven, sprinkle with chopped green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot.
