Prepare Soft Serve Base

In a medium saucepan, combine 4 cups whole milk, 2 cups heavy cream, 1 cup granulated sugar, and 0.25 tsp kosher salt. Warm over medium-low, whisking constantly until the sugar fully dissolves and the mixture is steaming but not boiling.

Finish Base
Remove from heat and whisk in 2 tsp vanilla extract. Let cool briefly, then refrigerate until completely cold (at least 2 hours, or overnight).
Flavor Infusion (choose one or rotate seasonally)

Add chosen flavor infusion
When the base is cold, add 0.75 cup strawberry puree or 0.5 cup pumpkin puree or 0.5 cup mango puree to the base, then whisk until smooth.

Churn in soft serve machine
Pour the cooled base into your soft serve machine and churn according to the manufacturer’s instructions, typically 20–25 minutes, until thick and creamy.
Serve and Garnish

Serve
Scoop soft serve into bowls or cones. Immediately top with rainbow sprinkles. Drizzle with chocolate syrup and sprinkle chopped nuts if desired.
