Preparation

  1. 1

    Preheat the Oven

Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).

  2. 2

    Clean the Mushrooms

Gently clean the mushrooms with a damp cloth to remove any dirt. Remove the stems and set them aside.

Make the Filling

  1. 3

    Mix the Cheese Filling

In a mixing bowl, combine the cream cheese, Parmesan cheese, minced garlic, chopped parsley, dried oregano, salt, and black pepper. Mix until smooth and well combined.

  2. 4

    Chop Mushroom Stems

Finely chop the mushroom stems that you removed earlier and add them to the cheese mixture. Mix until incorporated.

Stuff and Bake

  1. 5

    Stuff the Mushrooms

Using a small spoon or a piping bag, fill each mushroom cap with the cheese filling until heaped.

  2. 6

    Prepare Topping

In a small bowl, mix the breadcrumbs with olive oil until the crumbs are coated.

  3. 7

    Top the Mushrooms

Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture over the stuffed mushrooms evenly.

  4. 8

    Bake

Place the stuffed mushrooms on a baking sheet and bake in the preheated oven for 20-25 minutes, or until the tops are golden brown.

Serve

  1. 9

    Cooling and Serving

Allow the stuffed mushrooms to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy warm!
