Instructions for Buffalo Chicken Wings
- 1
Prepare the Chicken Wings
Rinse the chicken wings under cold water and pat them dry with paper towels. In a large bowl, combine flour, salt, black pepper, garlic powder, and cayenne pepper. Toss the wings in the flour mixture until they are evenly coated.
- 2
Heat the Oil
In a deep fryer or large pot, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Ensure there is enough oil to fully submerge the wings.
- 3
Fry the Wings
Carefully add the coated chicken wings to the hot oil in batches, frying them for about 8-10 minutes, or until they are golden brown and crispy. Use a slotted spoon to remove the wings and drain them on paper towels.
- 4
Prepare the Buffalo Sauce
In a small saucepan, melt the stick of butter over medium heat. Once melted, add the hot sauce and stir until well combined. Remove from heat.
- 5
Coat the Wings
In a large bowl, toss the fried wings with the buffalo sauce until they are fully coated.
- 6
Serve
Serve the buffalo chicken wings hot with ranch dressing or bleu cheese dressing on the side.
