Salmon

Asparagus

Lemon Butter Sauce

Method

Prepare the Salmon

  1. 1

    Season the Salmon

In a bowl, combine olive oil, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper. Rub this mixture over both sides of the salmon fillets. Let it marinate for 15 minutes.

  2. 2

    Preheat the Grill

Preheat your grill to medium-high heat (about 400°F or 200°C).

  3. 3

    Grill the Salmon

Place the salmon on the grill skin-side down. Grill for about 6-8 minutes per side, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork.

Prepare the Asparagus

  1. 4

    Season the Asparagus

Trim the woody ends of the asparagus spears. In a bowl, toss the asparagus with olive oil, salt, and black pepper.

  2. 5

    Grill the Asparagus

Add the seasoned asparagus to the grill and cook for approximately 5-7 minutes, turning occasionally, until tender and slightly charred.

Make the Lemon Butter Sauce

  1. 6

    Melt the Butter

In a small saucepan over low heat, melt the unsalted butter.

  2. 7

    Add the Flavorings

Once the butter is melted, stir in lemon juice, minced garlic, chopped parsley, salt, and black pepper. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until fragrant.

Serve the Dish

  1. 8

    Plate the Salmon and Asparagus

On serving plates, place a piece of grilled salmon and a portion of grilled asparagus.

  2. 9

    Drizzle with Lemon Butter Sauce

Spoon the lemon butter sauce generously over the salmon and asparagus before serving.
