Brussels Sprouts

Spicy Honey Glaze

Bacon and Lime Crema

Method

Preparation of Brussels Sprouts

  1. 1

    Trim and Halve

Trim the ends of the Brussels sprouts and slice them in half lengthwise.

  2. 2

    Season

In a large bowl, toss the halved Brussels sprouts with olive oil, salt, and black pepper until evenly coated.

Cooking

  1. 3

    Fry Brussels Sprouts

In a large skillet over medium-high heat, add the Brussels sprouts in a single layer and cook for about 6-8 minutes, stirring occasionally, until they are golden and crispy on the outside.

  2. 4

    Prepare Spicy Honey Glaze

In a small bowl, whisk together honey, Sriracha sauce, soy sauce, and minced garlic until well combined.

  3. 5

    Glaze Brussels Sprouts

Once the Brussels sprouts are cooked, reduce the heat to low and pour the spicy honey glaze over them. Stir to coat the Brussels sprouts evenly with the glaze and cook for an additional 2 minutes.

Bacon and Lime Crema

  1. 6

    Cook Bacon

In another skillet, cook the chopped bacon over medium heat until crispy. Drain on paper towels and set aside.

  2. 7

    Make Lime Crema

In a bowl, combine sour cream, lime juice, and lime zest. Mix well until smooth.

Assembly

  1. 8

    Plate and Serve

Transfer the glazed Brussels sprouts to a serving platter. Top with crispy bacon and drizzle lime crema over the top. Serve warm.
