Method
Preparing the Asparagus

Trim the Asparagus
Wash the asparagus thoroughly and trim the tough ends off the stalks.

Season the Asparagus
In a bowl, toss the asparagus with a tablespoon of olive oil, salt, and pepper to coat evenly.
Cooking the Salmon

Heat the Pan
In a large skillet, heat the remaining tablespoon of olive oil over medium-high heat.

Sear the Salmon
Once the oil is hot, place the salmon fillets skin-side down in the skillet. Cook for about 4-5 minutes until the skin is crispy.

Flip the Salmon
Carefully flip the salmon fillets and cook for an additional 3-4 minutes until the salmon is cooked through and flakes easily with a fork.
Preparing the Lemon Butter Sauce

Melt the Butter
In a small saucepan over medium heat, melt the butter.

Finish the Sauce
Remove from heat and stir in the chopped parsley. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Cooking the Asparagus

Sauté the Asparagus
In the same skillet used for the salmon, add the seasoned asparagus. Sauté for about 5-7 minutes until tender and slightly charred.
Serving

Plate the Dish
On each plate, place a salmon fillet with a portion of sautéed asparagus. Drizzle the lemon butter sauce over the salmon.

Garnish with additional parsley if desired and serve immediately.
